The Duchess of Sussex has said that she and her husband are "ready" and "excited to  join the club" after announcing they are becoming parents. The Duke spoke of his joy at being able to announce news of the new royal baby in Australia, saying he could not think of a better place to tell the world. After a wet and windy start to the Sussex's time Down Under, the sun was shining for the couple as they enjoyed the sights of Sydney on the first official day of their tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. Much of the attention was on the Duchess after the couple revealed on Monday that they are expecting their first baby.  Sporting a cream dress by Australian designer Karen Gee, the duchess also wore a touching tribute to her late mother-in-law - a pair of jewel-encrusted butterflies which once belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales. She also wore a bracelet from the same collection, assumed to be a gift from Prince Harry in celebration of a new stage...

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will welcome their first child in spring 2019, Kensington Palace has announced. Harry and Meghan informed members of the Royal family on Friday at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle, where the duke and duchess were also married earlier in the year. Prince Harry was once third in line to the throne but has since moved down - and where will his first child fit into the succession? Most family members moved down a place in April following the birth of Prince Louis, whose arrival made history when he slotted in as fifth in line to the throne. The birth of Prince William and his wife Kate's third child meant the line of succession now sees the new Prince of Cambridge follow the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Historically, Princess Charlotte would have lost her spot to her younger brother, but new legislation introduced in 2013 overhauled the order of succession.  Prince...

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced that they'll be welcoming their first child in spring 2019. But the latest addition to the royal family might not be a Prince or Princess.  SEE ALSO: Harry and Meghan are expecting a baby and yes we are screaming right now Royal etiquette expert William Hanson told Mashable that the royal baby's title all depends on the Queen's decision.  "Any title given to the child will be at The Queen’s discretion and whim," Hanson explained. "Due to Prince Harry’s status as 6th in line to the throne, and as the child’s as 7th once born, it is unlikely it will be made a Prince or Princess, but we won’t know until after the birth." "It is likely that it will be The Lord or The Lady Windsor. If the child is male it may take Prince Harry’s courtesy title - Earl of Dumbarton,” Hanson tells Mashable.  Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of...

Nicola Brooksbank, whose son Jack is marrying the Queen’s granddaughter in the historic royal town on Friday, laughed off the notion of any nerves ahead of the big day, saying: “We are all really excited about it.” It came as the Duke and Duchess of York joined the bride at a high level meeting at Buckingham Palace on Friday to thrash out the final details. Speaking exclusively to The Telegraph, Mrs Brooksbank said: “We are hugely looking forward to it and we are very much hoping the weather holds out. It’s been such lovely weather - we hope to have sunshine for Friday.” Asked if the happy couple were feeling nervous she added: “I don’t know about nerves. They are thrilled to bits. We cannot wait.” Jack is the eldest son of Nicola and George Brooksbank, an accountant and company dir...
