Linda Sarsour

Linda Sarsour owes her public profile to a press that has gone out of its way to cover for her rather than actually cover her true motives and allegiances. They made excuses for Sarsour because she's a woman, she's Muslim, and she's a harsh critic of the president.

In the runup to Thanksgiving, Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour tried to fend off the growing criticism of her embrace of Louis Farrakhan — without actually calling out his endless hate speech. She did apologize, sort of, issuing a statement admitting, “We should have been faster and clearer in helping people understand our values and...

Women's March co-organizers Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory have been scrutinised for their association with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan
November 7th, 2018
Actress and liberal activist Alyssa Milano distanced herself from the Women’s March in a recent interview, citing concerns over the group’s leaders’ connections to anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan. “Any time that there is any bigotry or anti-Semitism in that respect, it needs to be called out and addressed. I’m disappointed in the leadership of the Women’s March that they haven’t done it adequately” Alyssa Milano told The Advocate. The activist was also asked if she would attend a Women’s March event now, considering the ties that the leadership have with Farrakhan. “I would say no at this point. Unfortunate that none of them have come forward against him at this point. Or even given a really good reason why to support them,” she said. Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour, key organizers of the Women’s March, have been criticized for their associated with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Mallory said in June that the founding of...

As women rallied at the U.S. Capitol to protest Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court on Saturday, activist Linda Sarsour flew from Washington to Texas with her eyes on the next challenge: the Nov. 6 congressional elections. Sarsour, a leader of the Women's March organization, said it was time to harness women's furor around Kavanaugh to galvanize voters in races that will soon determine which party controls Congress. Women's March, which grew out of the massive January 2017 demonstrations protesting Donald Trump's presidency, mobilized thousands of women during Kavanaugh's confirmation process over concerns about how the conservative judge would vote on issues such as abortion, and allegations that he sexually assaulted university professor Christine Blasey Ford when they were teenagers in 1982.
